Santa Comes to Woodbury – December 21

Join us as Santa Claus makes a special visit to our Woodbury Grinchmas experience on Saturday, December 21st! Come celebrate the holiday season with special visits from not only Santa Claus himself, but also Mrs. Claus, and the friendly Grinch! We also have lots of fun games and yummy treats! Jazz and Spirits – November 1

Woodbury ladies and gentlemen, please join us on Friday, November 1st for our first ever ‘Jazz and Spirits’ night! This event will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Woodbury Courtyard at 108 Lamplighter. We will have live jazz music, accompanied by scotch, whiskey, brandy & bourbon tasting! You can also enjoy learning from a Master Roller the process of how cigars are made, the different blends, styles of cigars and types of leaves. Each person will get their own two (2) cigars to take home – there will be traditional cigars, and an array of flavored cigars to choose from (cigars cannot be smoked at this event). Non-alcoholic drinks and light refreshments will also be served. You must be 21 years of age or older to attend, and there is a max of two adults per household that may attend. This event is

Pumpkin Carving Contest – Photo Due by October 25

We are excited to announce another pumpkin carving contest for Woodbury residents this year! Carve your pumpkins at home, take a picture once completed, and email your final product to the Recreation Director at [email protected] with your name and Woodbury address, and say whether you are an adult or child. Submit your photo by 12 PM on Friday, October 25th. We will choose one adult winner and one child winner for this contest! Winners will receive a gift card.

Yo-Chi – Mondays in Oct./Nov.

Yo-Chi is back! Starting on October 7th, we are having a weekly Yo-Chi session on Mondays led by instructor Lanie Chan. Yo-Chi is a combination of yoga and tai chi that focuses on enhancing stability and mobility. Fall Festival – October 19

Start this holiday season off with some exciting family fun at Woodbury’s annual Fall Festival event! We will be hosting many activities such as rollercoasters, bounce houses, a pumpkin patch (limit 1 pumpkin per child), booth games, a DJ, and much more! Wristbands for this event go on sale on Friday, September 27th at 9 AM at the Recreation Office. Community Garage Sale – October 5

We invite you to drag out those items that have been cluttering your garage, crawl space, or even your storage unit, and come down to the Recreation Center, located at 108 Lamplighter for our upcoming Community Garage Sale! The garage sale will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th. Spots will go on sale on Friday, September 13th at 9 AM at the Recreation Office. CPR Class – August 14

We would love to have you join us for an American Red Cross CPR training for Adults, Children, and Infants led by Heart CPR.  The training will be held in the Woodbury Clubroom (108 Lamplighter) on Wednesday, August 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For event details and more information on how to sign up, please go to “Community Events” under the Recreation tab.

Red Cross Blood Drive – August 12

Schedule now to donate blood on August 12th with the Red Cross! The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in the Woodbury parking lot by the sport courts at 108 Lamplighter from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Residents can schedule by going to https://www.redcrossblood.org/ and searching Woodbury. All donors will receive by email, a $20 Amazon e-gift card. For any questions, please contact the Red Cross at (800) 733-2767.

Proposed Sport Courts Rule Addition

In accordance with California Civil Code section 4360(a), the Board of Directors hereby provides owners with a minimum of twenty-eight (28) days’ notice of a proposed change to the Woodbury Community Association’s Rules and Regulations.  The text of the proposed change to the Sport Court Rules can be found in the Homeowner Portal, Documents section in the “Proposed Rule Change” folder, for your review. 

Concert in the Park – August 3

Be sure to join us for our upcoming Concert in the Park! There will be an exciting performance by Shake, Rattle & Roll, an Elvis Presley tribute band, on August 3rd from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The concert will be located on the round grass area by the Competition Pool parking lot off of Towngate and Revival. Please feel free to bring drinks, food, blankets, and lawn/beach chairs for seating. We will also have free face painting and ice cream while supplies last!

Succulent Workshop – August 17

Join us on Saturday, August 17th for our first ever succulent workshop! This event will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Woodbury Clubroom at 108 Lamplighter.
