Wristbands available beginning Friday, September 28th at 9 a.m. Start this fall holiday season off with some exciting family fun at our annual Fall Festival! We will be hosting many activities such as a ferris wheel, giant slide, train ride around the Great Lawn, swing ride, go gator coaster, pumpkin patch (limit 1 per child), booth games, crafts, DJ, shaved ice truck, bouncers, balloon artists, face painting, photo booth and a special visit from your favorite superheroes! We will also have our annual Halloween Costume Contest! Winners will receive a ribbon and bag of candy, as well as be included in a group picture taken for the next community newsletter.The judges will be hiding in the crowds so come dressed in your best! DJ will make an announcement for prizes at 4:30 PM. Limit of 4 wristbands per household. You must have your signed waive and pool key/photo I.D. with you when you purchase wristbands at the Recreation Office as proof of residency. Please note pumpkins are limited. Please arrive on time to ensure your child receives a free pumpkin at the event. Children MUST have a wristband to participate in any of the activities at the event. Height/Weight Restrictions:
The Resort Pool will be closed beginning Wednesday, September 12th for a plaster, tile, and coping project. The volleyball court will be closed during this time. Estimated completion time is 3 months. We will keep the website updated with any information! The Lagoon and Competition pool will be heated during that time for any swimmers that would like to make use of those pools. Please note that the lifeguards are no longer at the Lagoon & Resort pool during the week. They will be here on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays until September 30th from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Board of Directors would like to make all Woodbury residents aware of the pesticide use and the locations within the community by our landscape company, Park West. The new map illustrates the areas that are pesticide free and that organic products are used when needed. The organic fertilizer will be applied four times throughout the year. These areas are identified in green. Areas that are color coded pink will only have pesticides used as needed and notifications will be posted on the website and bulletin board in advance of any localized, landscape treatment. The Board is conscientious of the community concerns and have made a level of commitment to enhance the level of service and products used at no current increase to homeowners.
