Calling all Woodbury Seniors (55+)! We are having a weekly Senior Tai Chi session led by instructor Lanie Chan. Senior Tai Chi will be taking place every Tuesday in the Clubroom starting on September 5th, with the last session being on November 7th. We will have face painting and free ice cream while supplies last. Calling all Woodbury kids (5 yrs. & up)! Pinot’s Palette is hosting a kid’s paint event in the Clubroom on Saturday, August 19th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is a limit of 2 residents per household – the cost is $15.00 per person. Schedule now to donate blood on July 17th with the Red Cross! The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in the Woodbury parking lot at 108 Lamplighter from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Residents can schedule by going to https://www.redcrossblood.org/ and using the sponsor code: Woodbury. Don’t forget to sign up for our Charcuterie Workshop on Saturday, July 15th at 10 AM! The cost is $25.00 per person – limit of 2 adults per household. On Saturday, July 1st, we are celebrating our annual 4th of July Event. The Lagoon and Resort Pools will be closed off from resident entry on this day until 4:00 P.M. Only those with a wristband on will be allowed to enter at 11:30 A.M. when the event begins.

Calling all kids! Pick up a coloring page at the Recreation Office at 108 Lamplighter, or print one off the Woodbury website under “Community Events,” under the Recreation tab. Bring your page back to our office by 12 p.m. on June 12th for a chance to be one of four winners! We will choose one winner and one runner-up for the following age groups: 0-6 years old and 7-14 years old.
