Back in 2017 the Woodbury Community Board of Directors made the decision to have Park West use all organic products which resulted in an increase of $10,000 per month at the time. The increase was due to the additional labor for maintenance and to help with manually removing weeds throughout the common areas, more frequent applications needed for organic fertilizes and weed abatement in turf and planters. At this time, the Board of Directors is considering keeping the organic applications around all parks and pool areas as well as any other areas marked in green on the attached map and all other common areas would go back to using non-organic products, which would save the Association approximately $56,000.00 per year. The Board will be discussing this option at the June 21st meeting at 4:30 pm in the Woodbury Club Room.
